For most of my life, my mother was a paralegal for a family law attorney. I grew up watching her and going to the office any chance I had to learn from her and help with anything I could so I could learn the practice.
I continued to occasionally go to work with my mom all through high school until I graduated. At that point, I was hired as a receptionist/legal assistant at a small family law and personal injury practice in Baton Rouge.
I loved knowing that through people’s most challenging times in life, I was there to help. Even if it was a small part, I was there. My goal in life is just to make people happy. Making others happy and helping them achieve things makes me happy.
When I joined LJB Legal, I could immediately tell that this is where I wanted to stay. Their dedication to helping others and doing so compassionately really stood out to me. It feels like a family here, with the team and with the clients.
When I am not at work, you can find me spending time with my husband Taylor, our dog Stormie, or my family. I am one of six children, 3 girls, and 3 boys, visiting with my siblings is one of my most treasured pass times. My family is a very big part and priority in my life, as I grew up going to a family event almost every weekend.
I can’t wait to further my career here at LJB and continue to help others get through their situations.
