At the LJBLegal, we understand the profound impact that a disability or serious injury can have on an individual and their loved ones. In recognition of the resilience and determination it takes to overcome such challenges, we are proud to announce the LJBLegal Injury and Disability Scholarship for 2024 graduates of Hahnville High School.

Scholarship Overview:

Our scholarship is designed to support and encourage students who have been affected by a disability or a serious injury, either personally or through a loved one. We believe in the power of education and are committed to helping students achieve their academic and career aspirations.

Scholarship Requirements:

  1. Essay Submission:

    • Applicants must submit an essay of 300-500 words on the topic “How a Disability or Serious Injury has Impacted Myself or a Loved One”.
    • The essay should reflect the personal experiences and insights of the applicant, highlighting the challenges faced and the lessons learned.
  2. Eligibility:

    • The applicant must be a 2024 graduate of Hahnville High School.
  3. Submission Deadline:

    • Essays should be submitted to info (AT) ljblegal (DOT) com by March 15.
    • Provide your name, the school that you will be attending, and the major that you plan to pursue.
    • Please note: We cannot access documents stored in your Google Classroom account. Please click File -> Download to save the document and then attach the document to your email.
  4. University Enrollment:

    • The scholarship recipient must commence attendance at a 4-year university in the fall following their graduation from Hahnville High School. Continual enrollment each semester is essential to maintain the scholarship. The scholarship is intended to support their journey through higher education.

Scholarship Amount:

  • The scholarship awards a total of $2000, disbursed as $250 per semester for up to 8 semesters. This sustained support is our commitment to the educational journey of the recipient.
