About
I grew up around the legal profession. My father was a personal injury attorney, and I first became interested in the field after shadowing him and watching how he cared for his clients with empathy and compassion. Seeing the difference he made in people’s lives inspired me to pursue a career in law.
Before law school, I worked as an editor and customer service representative at a printing company. That experience strengthened my attention to detail and communication skills, both of which continue to help me in my legal work today. I later followed my passion for the law and attended Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.
After graduating from Loyola, I was admitted to the bar in Washington and spent two years practicing family law and domestic violence law. During that time, I helped clients who were facing some of the most difficult moments in their lives. That experience taught me the importance of listening carefully, communicating clearly, and guiding people through challenging situations with patience and respect.
Eventually, I returned home to the River Parishes because my family and community are here, and I wanted to give back to the place that shaped me.
As a paralegal at LJBLegal, I use my legal background, attention to detail, and communication skills to support our attorneys and serve our clients. My experience practicing law gives me a unique perspective that helps our team better understand each case and the people behind it. I listen to our clients’ concerns with empathy and compassion while working closely with our attorneys to help pursue the best possible outcome for them.
It is an honor to help guide people during some of life’s most difficult moments.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading mystery novels, doing embroidery, painting, and walking my dog, Pepé. These hobbies help me stay calm and focused so I can give our clients the care and attention they deserve.
