Loyd Bourgeois grew up on the West Bank of St. Charles Parish in Bayou Gauche. He and his wife are both graduates of Hahnville High School and live in Luling with their 3 children.
Loyd wanted to serve the residents of St. Charles Parish so he quit his job in the city and opened his office right at the base of the Hale Boggs (aka “Luling-Destrehan”) bridge on River Road in Luling. After extensive damage from Hurricane Ida, the firm expanded to a larger office off Highway 90. This location is convenient for everyone in St. Charles Parish, including Boutte, Destrehan, Des Allemands, Ama, St. Rose, Norco, and Montz!
Loyd is a board member of the United Way of St. Charles and a regular participant in one of his favorite events of the year, their “Battle for the Paddle.”
