LA-16 in Denham Springs, Louisiana is a heavily traveled corridor in Livingston Parish. The four-lane highway is separated by a raised cement median. While our client was riding as a passenger, the driver of the vehicle attempted a U-turn on LA-16 at its intersection with LA-1025.
However, during the turn, the driver failed to yield to oncoming northbound traffic on LA-16 and caused a crash into the passenger side of the vehicle. Our client was tossed and turned during the impact causing substantial pain and discomfort to her neck, shoulder and back
