My husband has his disability through a private disability insurance company. They stopped his benefits for the second time in 10 years and kept him off for 2 years at a time when he was still disabled. We live in Galliano and there are no attorneys in our area that take these types of cases. A family friend who is an attorney recommended Mr Loyd Bourgeois. Mr Bourgeois took our case and handled everything for us. He got the needed experts, medical records etc. kept us updated and spoke with us personally when we had questions. He listened to us and did what we asked, even if it wasn’t always the “usual” way of doing things. He fought for us, didn’t back down when we said “let’s go to court”. He showed the company he could play hardball too for his clients. The company had to reinstate my husband thanks to Mr Bourgeois.
